ADIPEC 2017 3 People 2 Cities 1 Event

Last week the SASES team, consisting of Mark Zwinderman, John Harrison and Sophie Cochrane, travelled to the United Arab Emirates. We thought we'd take this opportunity to share with you how our trip went.

The main purpose of this visit was to attend ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi, one of the world's premium events for the oil and gas industry. However, it was also a great opportunity to arrange meetings elsewhere in the Middle East, mainly Dubai. This part of the world has so much potential for work right now, and SASES are eager to be a part of it as much as possible.

During our time at ADIPEC, SASES were situated at the Scottish Development International stand. A great place to be, with over 65 Scottish companies exhibiting it really shows why Scotland's oil and gas industry has a global reputation for innovation. We owe a huge thank you to the amazing team at SDI who organised the trade mission and who worked tirelessly for us during ADIPEC.

"Oil and gas is one of Scotland’s biggest success stories, generating £12.2 billion worth of exports to over 130 countries."

It was clear at ADIPEC that oil waste management is now a priority in the region and the cleanup of drilling waste, legacy waste and the SASES MIST systems for fast, low cost cleanup of oil sludge and drill cuttings received a warm welcome. We already have a good number of clients in the region for drill cuttings cleaning, slops treatment (Abu Dhabi) and oil sludge treatment. SASES is committed to the region and will be continuing to work closely with its partners.

Next year you could also be a part of one of the world's largest and most influential oil and gas industry exhibitions. ADIPEC 2018 takes place on the 12th-15th of November; maybe we'll see you there...

Overall it was a very productive and successful week, making us very excited for things to come.

We had an awesome time! Thanks to all who came to see us, to all our friends, clients and supporters.
